Ok, right now I'm quite confused. I understand that double majoring across colleges within Cornell is not allowed, but from what I've read (or at least from what I've interpreted), you can major in your specific college, then minor in across colleges within Cornell? E.g. Majoring in econ at CAS and then having a nutri sci minor in CALS? Is this possible?

The example you gave is definitely possible: I’m majoring in Human Development (CHE), minoring in Business (CALS), and also minoring in Creative Writing (CAS). However, some colleges will only offer certain minors to students majoring in that college. Only CALS students can major in Applied Economics & Management, but they have general Business minors specifically for Engineers or for students in any of the colleges at Cornell.

It’s also technically possible to double major across colleges, though it’s called a dual degree, and requires you to apply and is very hard to coordinate. But it is possible in some situations.
