I will be applying for fall 2011 as an international to UChicago, Northwestern, Wesleyan, NYU and Claremont Mckenna .. I have given SAT twice, both times 2050, I am thinking of repeating again in january but will these universities accept my jan scores which will come after the deadline ? . please help. thankyou.

You have taken the exam twice. The exam was given to you.

You need to contact each of the institutions on your list and ask their admissions offices whether they will accept a January exam or not. Do not be surprised if different institutions give you different answers.

I know many schools don’t accept anything after the December test date, but a few do accept January (I know MIT does, for instance).

The best course of action would probably just be to call/e-mail and ask (as has been suggested above).

Good luck.

January should be fine for U of Chicago, even though there’s no guarantee that your application won’t be reviewed before the January scores arrive:

The best idea in this case would be to do a few google searches and check each individual college’s own admissions website. Almost all information can be found there, and if not, you can always call the admissions office :].
