<p>No other identity proof except the passport is acceptable in India. 
Thats the whole problem ! </p>
<p>I’ll quote their(collegeboard) reply when I contacted them in this regard :</p>
<p>"Thank you for contacting The College Board.</p>
<p>We have received your e-mail regarding acceptable identification for admittance into the SAT test. We will be happy to assist you.</p>
<p>We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. </p>
<p>Students testing in India, Ghana, Nepal, Nigeria, and Pakistan, must present your current and valid passport containing your signature and a current, recognizable photo. No other form of ID will be accepted."</p>
