Can I Handle (or should I even continue trying) Business Pre Med?

I go to a small-mid sized university in the south. It’s top 100 but closer to 100 if you feel me. I already have an associate’s degree and don’t wanna be in undergrad any longer than four years. I’m majoring in business because I’m 100% unsure about med school, so I’m just on the premed track. This is very uncommon at my school, so it’s hard to find people with a similar struggle.
These science classes are killing me. The only science I like is psychology. If I went to med school, I’d be going for psychiatry; no other type of med field really interests me. I want to do that because I think would enjoy going to work everyday dealing with the mentally ill and make a decent living even if I started worked part time to focus on starting my own business.
But I’m making Ds in intro chem and bio. I was smart in high school (straight A’s) but college makes me feel stupid. Should I just give it up and stick with business, take more psychology classes and decide later, or?
I know it’s up to me at the end of the day but some advice would be helpful.

Are you taking Chem and Bio at the same time? Two lab sciences at once is tough .
One way to do it is to space them out.
But yes, you have to be able to do well in science for pre-med.
I would talk to your adviser/Health major adviser asap.

You DO NOT WANT D’s in both of these classes in your GPA. One possibility is withdrawing from one of these classes. But make sure you are still full time…that affects your housing/financial aid.

Another is to raise your grad! You need to change how you study…get tutors! Here are more ideas:

Thank you. I’m talking to my advisor this week to see what steps I can take.

“Should I just give it up and stick with business”

Yes. If you are getting Ds in science and don’t enjoy it, drop the premed recs.
