Just a rough sample of living costs. It doesnt have to be the most accurate. Just want to have some sort of plan. I'm an international student btw

My daughter lived in a dorm on campus last year. The room was about $5200 for two semesters; her meal plan was $3700 for two semesters. This would, for you, cover housing and meals.

However, you probably have other costs, such as school supplies, car costs if you have a car, cell phone charges, personal needs, and so on. Unfortunately, my daughter became so tired of the dorm food that she also spent money going out to eat or at the grocery store.

It might be cheaper to live off campus but I can’t say for sure. Williamsburg is not super-cheap. It is a very nice area.

please could i have an estimate of those “other costs” like supplies, personal needs, etc.

The Financial Aid Office estimates that stuents need about $1400. per semester to cover books, travel and general living expenses. That is the figure they currently build into financial aid packages.
