Can I just use REA's APUSH book instead of my school's textbook?

The US History textbook from school for my APUSH class is so long, thick, and wordy. 3 chapters are 100 pages long. When I read it, I don't remember anything. I'm thinking about just using the REA book. My teacher gives out tests with 25 multiple choice questions directly from the REA book anyways, and we rarely use the textbook in class. Is this the smart thing to do? To just study from the REA book?

well the REA book is for REVIEW not solely for teaching u all of history. so it kinda expects u to know stuff already and its supposed to refresh ur memory. but if u wanna use it since u teacher uses its tests then go ahead.

Yes, I agree with the prior message.. REA is a REVIEW book..its not meant to take place of your textbook. I kinda do something similar to what you're doing cept I use AMSCO which is my god i read it along with my textbook honestly its like a translator of the silly language my textbook uses. Consider getting amsco.. i have both REA and AMSCO..rea cannot even compare :D
