^Do whatever you enjoy, it is therapeutic, correct, to be away from science classes. It is also beneficial (according to my D.). Pursuing different interests somehow add to looking at solving science problems from different (wider) prospective. One of D’s friend had graduated with triple major(s), two of them related though. She did it in the same 4 years. She had additional Spanish and Latin studies majors (as I said, related, but completely unrelated to her Zoology main major). Everything is possible, just stay flexible. My D. started out with 2 minors. She had to drop one of them (Neurocsience) 2 classes short of being completed because one of her Med. Schools added requirements. Not a big deal, as long as you are ready for changes if they are needed. Remember. high GPA is always a goal, no matter what.

There’s more to life than a 4.0 and you don’t need one to get into Med school anyway.

Work hard, do your best but also find time for some things that interest you, it’s great stress relief and will also help your resume in the long run.

Premed is not a major, it is a set of courses. It is the path most med schools require for admission (chem, phys, bio, math). You can major in IR and be in the premed program, but you can’t actually get a degree in premed.

You make perfect sense. I guess I can do that. I’ll absolutely talk to my parents about that. I am extremely excited. Thank you so much.
