Can I make it?? Chance Me and Ill chance back!

<p>I'm a Junior from and an Idaho high school and I really would like to know how I stand up to some Universities and what would be a good match for me. I'm going to retake the ACT soon, but everything else is kind of unchangeable.</p>

<p>ACT: 30 (32E, 29M, 29R, 30S) **Retaking!
-I didn't study at all for the first test, and I hadn't done plane geometry in forever but I'm studying for the next one as we speak.</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Weighted GPA: 4.1
Rank: 5/288-valedictorian for 4.0 UW</p>

<p>AP this year:
-AP English</p>

<p>Next year:
-AP English 12
-AP Calculus
-AP Government</p>

<p>Engineering classes taken/will take:
-IED (intro to engineering design) -10th
-POE (principals of engineering) -11th
-Aerospace Engineering -11th
-EDD (engineering design and development) -12th - capstone course.</p>

-NHS (11th, 12th - officer 12th)
-Some community service (50 hrs)
-Mentor at Youth Football Camp during the summer
-Conducting an independent study on the structural strength differences between arch and rigid frame bass wood bridges.
-Rebuilding a 3vzf straight 6 engine and swapping into my 4x4 Toyota pickup.
-Work as a Lifeguard at water park</p>

<p>You know that your act is low and you will be taking it again so if you could get it to a 33 that would open up options like Cornell and even stanford. unweighted gpa is very good but weighted is not as impressive. Keep up the hard work and most of those schools will be good options for you! Best of luck!</p>

<p>my school only offers around 5 AP classes and doing the math the highest weighted gpa here possible is like 4.25, which kinda sucks.
