Can I raise my GPA in two years?

I am attending a private university for my undergraduate studies in social work starting this fall. Transferring in from a community college, my GPA is only a 3.1. I ****ed around too much these last two years.

I have roughly 70 or so units so far, and I was wondering if I could pull off a 3.7+ in the two years for my Bachelor's degree? Now that I'm paying a pretty penny for my education, I'm definitely going to try my best to stay on top of my ****.

I'm looking into applying to Columbia for grad school (hey, I like to shoot for the stars), and many other bigger schools outside of California.

I'm just worried I won't be able to bring that GPA up within this time frame.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

You’ve completed the first 2 years w a 3.1 avg. You have 2 more years to go. If you achieve nothing but A’s in the next 2 years, that would be a 4.0 for those 2 years.

What is the average of 3.1 and 4.0? It’s 3.55. This is the max GPA you could achieve from this point on.

This is a 5th grade basic arithmetic problem…
