want to get in USC its been my dream

"always tooked extra classes online to not only be ahead but to get the GPA I wanted."

is this passable ? if so how can i do it ples help i want to get 3.7 GPA know one told me that USC looks at the 9th grad report card to man know one i fell so depressed .

Your College Confidential profile says you are 22 years old, and from the wording of your question it seems perhaps you are just having some fun.

^lol Im pretty sure I lied about my age when registering for CC, but I’m legit. Your judgement on emaile’s credibility seems to stem from this faulty correlation, though the wording of his post is, a tad strange.

How hard did you work to get a 2.7 GPA? If you feel youve only exerted like 10% effort the past year, you can prolly raise it up to 3.5, but it all depends on you really. Take the SAT and see what you get. If you can get like a 2100 then you prolly can hit around 3.7 in junior year. Good luck

this is a pretty simple math problem and only you have the info needed to answer it (does your school weight grades? if so, how? how many courses have you taken? and will you take?

But real rough … 2 years of 2.7 and 2 years of 4.0 … is a 3.35 GPA. Lots of colleges do not include freshman year which would bring it up to 3.5+ … and any weighting would allow more upward movement of your GPA.

3togo has the math right, of course USC won’t get to see your 2nd semster grades before they have to make a decision, so I’m thinking it’s a long shot.

P.S. I’m guessing the extra classes you “always tooked” online weren’t in Writing or English. Which classes have you “tooken”?

HappyBuddha, the age listed on the profile is but one of the things that make the post suspect. There are several others. This is clearly a ■■■■■.

And MY “lol” goes to you - if, as you believe, this is a legitimate post it is adorable that you feel the individual who typed it (“tooked”) is capable of a 2100 on the SAT… :)

If you were to get straight A’s for the rest of high school, you would be able to bring your GPA to at least a 3.6 GPA, and if you are taking college leveled classes, you are sure to reach a GPA at 3.8 , 3.9 , or above. Although it may seem very difficult, if you really work hard, you will achieve you’re goal and you will be able to get into the College of your dreams. Good Luck! :)
