<p>I am currently a sophomore at Cal and am wondering if I can retake a course that I took last semester that is a prerequisite for my intended major (Psych) for a letter grade. I switched to the P/NP option last semester because I thought I wasn't going to do well (our midterm grades were not given to us before the deadline) but ended up doing great in the class in the end. :/</p>
<p>I am asking because I am currently applying to transfer to UCLA and realized that the other course options for that prereq are not being offered in Spring 2012, so retaking it would be my only chance of completing my prereqs and getting into UCLA.</p>
