I’m a rising senior with a 3.655 GPA and I only want to put the first 2 decimal places on my application. I was wondering if I could round it up to 3.66 or would I just have to put 3.65?
You should match whatever appears on your official transcript. And either way, it’s not going to matter whether it’s 3.655, 3.66 or 3.65.
What you want does not matter if the college asks for the GPA to be reported to 3 decimal places (although very unlikely). If your HS transcript reports as 3.655 and the application asks for 2 decimal places, you are fine to report 3.66, But as @suzy100 says, 3.65 vs. 3.66 will not make a difference. Good luck.
