Hey, my gpa comes out to 3.69 so is it okay to round to 3.7 on common app? or is that considered cheating
I would not say “cheating,” but no college or HS I know of calculates GPA to the tenths. It’s a 3.69.
Just list it as 3.69- don’t risk anything with your college app.
List it as it appears on your transcript. Your transcript will be sent to the colleges you apply to so they will end up seeing your GPA anyway. Also, .01 GPA point is probably not going to be the difference between accept/reject.
