AP Environmental Sci - I didn't take an AP science class this year bcus I have a lot electives I wanted to take but It would make me look bad if I haven't taken a AP science class yet, not to be overshadowed but I'm not the most intense student but I'm currently only taking Ap Economics and AP Psych this year, so I was wondering If I would be able to Study APES in 2-3 months? I took a accelerated Biology course and did pretty well.

Yeah, it shouldn’t be a problem. Just go through one or two prep books, and you’ll be okay

yea thanks guys, ill consider it, not a big fan of self study but I guess its worth a shot. My other friend took the same class w/ me but took his chances by taking the AP Bio test the same year, he got a 4 even though he knew nothing about “Plants”

I’m self-studying APES too.

I will start self-studying soon as well. What prep books are you guys using? Also, are you taking the class for it or not?

I am also self-studying APES. I actually have 3 prepbooks- Kaplan 09, 5 steps to a 5, and PR 08. (Ya, I know, I kind of went a little overboard. Mostly for the practice tests.) I have also been studying out of Botkin-Keller Earth as a Living Planet. I’ve learned alot so far. Sometime before the test, we self studiers may need to have an online study session. I think that would help.

Thanks a lot puggly123! I bought Earth as a Living Planet and PR 08.

That’s great you got a textbook, fahdh2. I think that book is what has been helping me the most in self-studying. I just bought PR 08 a few days ago and so far it seems to be the best of all my prep books. So, it seems that you made good decisions in preparatory material. What are all you fellow self-studiers aiming for score-wise?
