<p>Most of the universities I am applying to have a deadline of either 31 Dec 2014 or 1st Jan 2015. However, I plan to retake SAT in January 2015 session in order to improve my score. Is it possible to send the scores of January session to universities having a deadline of 1st January?</p>
<p>Yes, sometimes schools have dates where they want you to update your application (Usually in mid-late February).</p>

<p>Depends on college. A large number, including all the ivies, with late Dec/earlyJan application deadlines accept the Jan SAT although for many of those, to assure it arrives on time, you need to send the score blind by designating the college in your test application file as one to automatically receive scores when they are released. However, just as large a number require all testing to be completed by the Dec test dates. Thus, you should check on each college to which you intend to apply.</p>
