I understand that I can write in four school codes when I am actually taking the test and it will send them to schools for the regular admission deadline. However, can I send more than 4 scores and still get them on time for regular decision? I have like 5-6 schools I need to send it to.
Yes! If you order the score reports through the College Board website, the first four score reports are free, and then any additional come with a fee. So you can send the scores to the 5-6 colleges, but just for another $$ fee.
When you sign up for the test and choose four colleges for automatic sending at no extra charge, you can actually add more at that time (or later) but you need to pay a sending fee for each extra college.

It’s 4 free per test date. So if you selected 4 when you registered, there’s not an additional 4 free after the test day. Regardless, they would all be sent at the same time.
Not sure what you mean by writing on the test day to send scores. If you mean trying to do an order to send scores while you are at the test center taking the test, then no that is not the way you should do it. Go online to your application. You get four free sends. You can also add more to the four oin your application but just need to pay a fee for each one added.
