Can I send two recs?

Hey guys,
I was wondering: can I send recs from both my spanish teacher and my social studies teacher? I'm applying to SFS and I want to show the admissions officer a language teacher's perspective on me as well as a social studies teachers'. Will they ignore one or will they look at both?

Thanks

Don't they require 2 recs anyways? At least for the College, I thought we had to have 2. Even if not, it can't hurt to send 2. They just don't want you to send recs from every single teacher you've ever had. If you think it will add something valuable to your app, do it.

i thought they only required one rec?

They only require one, but most people (in general) send two or more. However, it is far more important to have quality recs instead of numerous ones. If you have two that are going to be good, by all means send both. I wouldn't send more than three, and two is going to be the best number.

I sent in two, because I thought that each teacher had something different and equally important to say about me.

Ugh, I'm so glad this question got addressed. I was stressin over whether to send one or two.

if one of the two recs is mediocore, only send in the better one

If you decide to send in more than one, should the extra recommenders complete the form too? Or just give a letter?
