I can tell that this forum gets a lot of these type of questions. I don't know how to make this question interesting. I would do a little dance to prevent the moans and groans that usually follow "chances" threads... that is if I could dance.

I suppose my infinite gratitude must suffice.

Basically I have applied to UCLA (biz-econ) with 44 units, intending to transfer as a junior from a California community college.
Of the major prep courses I have taken all but 2nd semester calculus and Managerial Accounting.

My high school GPA is nothing worth mentioning. My current GPA is 3.88 non-TAP certified. The only B on my transcript was received in an introduction to Korean class, because I couldn't take the final due to short-term activation. (What's funny is that I speak the language.)

I am currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. Reserve. And work nearly full time at my mother's place of business. She is a single parent.

I am debating whether or not to apply to USC due to financial concerns. Initially, I thought that I would be content attending my "safety" choices, however upon further reflection USC is sounding better and better. This is why if I do apply I'll be applying very late.

In a nutshell the questions I have are.

Can I get into UCLA? what are my chances?
Should I apply to USC? will there be any repercussions for late application?
and
Could I be accepted? what are my chances?

I'm really in the dark here. Would you lend me a hand? (does a little jig* :D)
