Hi. So I took the SAT today, and I’m feeling 66% confident. I think my math and writing answers went well. I’m scared that my CR scores will be bad though (like below 600)…
Anyways, if on October 24 (or whenever the day is), I get a 2000+ and am happy with my score, allowed to cancel my November test and receive a refund? I don’t want to retake the test again if I am happy with my score.
According to the College Board website, if you’ve already completed the online registration: “Once you have completed your online registration, it can’t be canceled and test fees can’t be refunded. If you need to change your test date, you can transfer your registration to a future test date through your online account. There is an additional fee for transferring a registration, so have your credit card ready.”
You could try contacting the College Board and talk to Customer Service, but I doubt it will work. You’ll more than likely just have to eat the cost of the November SAT whether you show up to take the test or not.
@OCD123 so can you just not show up for the test and eat the cost? It would be like you never signed up for it right? Or would something show up on your record that you signed up and didn’t take?
College Board has no refund program. If you sign up and do not take the test, that is deemed to be a cancellation of the test and CB does not report anything about that test, even that you signed up for it, to any college or even your high school. You do not need to show up for the test for that to happen.
