Can I skip the SAT tomorrow and reschedule for November's?

I feel pretty sick and don't feel like I can take the SAT tomorrow. Can I miss tomorrow, and take it in November? What should I do to do that? And does anyone know how much it would cost? Thanks.

Hi, I had the same issue except I was ill the morning of the SATs, i.e. today, so I couldn't go in. I've read the if you're absent page, and I've tried ringing but of course customer services is shut over the weekend. So if I call in on monday, -after- the test date has passed can I still reschedule it and just pay the changing test date fee? Or will they say it's too late, and I have to book another one anyway?

I was ill too but I still gave the paper. Just go for it, and do your best.

No, I didn't go in, it was this morning. I couldn't go in cos I was throwing up between 11pm and 8am this morning. If I wanted to make the test in time I'd have had to leave my house at 6am. But i want to ring in on monday to reschedule, can i do that?

I heard a presentation by a professional college counselor a couple of years ago who spoke about illness on test day. I think she said that if you are at all able to show up for the test and are too ill to even start or finish it, they can't require that you complete it or submit scores. I don't know if you will get a refund or not, though. Sorry to hear you were ill. Perhaps other posters can give more official information on this.

yes you can do that. they will charge you about $22 for a test change fee.
