Sick Right Now

Should I still take the SATs tommorow? I've been on an uptime of 28+ hours, and I feel like crap. I know i'm going to be sick tommorow. This is my first SAT, what happens if you are sick that day? Are there makeups anytime soon?

Are you a junior or a senior? If a senior, I would take the test if you can. You can always cancel the score that day if you don't feel you did well. If you are a junior, don't bother.

I'm a junior, can I take the test next month? I don't want to waste the money though. Thanks!

If you don't take it, or take it and cancel, you will be wasting your money. Nonetheless, you might as well wait a few months until (you don't have to pay the late registration fee) and you feel better.

Don't rush. You have plenty of time. You will have to probably take the new SAT anyways.

... If you really want to take it and feel confident, though, and think you can still think straight without being distracted, I can offer some encouragement. I took my SAT II writing in October, just getting over a pretty bad cold, and got an 800.

Go take the test and cancel if you think you did poorly.

No-if you are sick, I think you should take the day off and sleep in
