Can I submit the SAT and ACT instead of the SAT and SAT Subject Tests

For colleges that require either the SAT and SAT IIs OR ACTs, can I submit the SAT and ACT?

Yeah, you can. They need at least one though. By submitting the ACTs, you’re fulfulling the ACT requirement. But just to be safe, I would submit my SAT 2’s also.

Make sure you check if it must be the ACT with writing.

For colleges that require SAT and SAT IIs but take the ACT in lieu of both of those, you can submit ACT. However, submitting SAT with ACT gets you nothing additional – they will either rely on ACT or rely on SAT and SAT IIs so the SAT is useless without the IIs.

Won’t go so far as to say it is useless - if the SAT scores are good, it will further compliment your application in regards to test scores.

My advice is to send all your testing - they will do what is best. Good luck :)
