For the colleges that usually require SAT IIs but take the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and SAT IIs, submitting an SAT without the SAT IIs is pointless. They use either the ACT or the SAT and SAT IIs. They won’t use that SAT in the evaluation at all unless there are IIs to go along with it.

nizzle927, what schools do that? How can we find out about it? On the college’s website? That’s very interesting, considering I dont want to take anymore subject tests haha

“What about if someone takes the SAT + Subj tests + ACT–is everything considered?”

What the colleges say is that it is an either-or situation. They will consider the SAT and IIs for admission or the ACT but not both. If you send all they choose which side is better for you, SAT and IIs or ACT
