<p>Hi, I"m new to CC and currently a rising senior in high school. I was wondering if I can take both the Math I and Math II subject tests and if they will count as two separate subjects. I have already taken the Math II and also the Chemistry subject test but some of the schools I am interested in require three SAT II's. </p>
<p>And if both Math tests count, does this look bad to top universities? Unfortunately, I am taking some of other SAT II's that are offered this coming year so I have not covered the material yet. My only other choice is to try to take the World History subject test. I took AP world history sophomore year but I definitely forgot much of the information. Is it possible to get a good score by just reading one of the study books?</p>
<p>I don’t know if they count as two separate subject tests, but it definitely won’t look good for top universities…it’ll make you look lazy, and getting a good score on Math I isn’t very impressive because the material is pretty basic.
Also, UCs don’t count Math I as a subject test if you’re considering UCs.</p>
<p>Sorry, can’t help you on the world history SAT, since I never took the test haha But if you’re good at the CR on the SATI, taking the Lit SATII would be a good choice.</p>
<p>“Some” of the schools? I thought Georgetown was the only one that requires 3 subject tests.</p>
<p>As for Math I and II, check the websites of the specific schools you are considering and follow their requirements, but in general I believe colleges that require SAT IIs expect a more broad distribution.</p>
<p>As for whether those two subjects count as different ones, check with each school. Of the top of my head, I know that Harvard at least does not consider them to be different.</p>
