Can I take SAT11's in October?

I plan on applying early to Yale this fall. I want to take the SAT11 in Literature, US History and Math1C/Math11c (undecided).

If I take them in October, will Yale receive my scores before the EA deadline?

Are these subjects even offered in October? I can't find a schedule on the College Board website and my guidance counselors are worthless.

Thanks.

Not sure about the Yale part, but you can definitely take SAT IIs in October. Here's the link for test dates in 2005-2006: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/calenfees/calenfees2.html
The first fall test is October 8.

Hi thisSShh, have you taken your SAT1? I have the same problem but I am only in 10th grade right now. My guidance counselor said to take SAT2 in US History,Chemistry and Math 2C in June 2006. I am also thinking of applying EA to Yale. My problem is that I am not sure if taking 3 subject Tests in one sitting is such a good idea although my counselor says that it should be fine since the tests were designed to be such. So the advice was to take the SAT1 in May ( I also have 3 AP exams in May) and the SAT2 in June. I asked if there is a chance to retake the SAT1 if my May score is not good and they told me that the results of the October SAT1Test is just in time for the EA/ED Nov 1 dateline.
I guess my next question to the counselor should be whether the SAT2 in October would be in time for EA/ED.

I don't see why not. I'm goign to apply EA to Yale this fall as well and I plan to take the French SAT IIs in October. I mean the deadline for EA is November 15th, it only takes 16 to get the scores.
I don't see a problem, people in the past have even taken them in november and still applied EA.
