Can I tell MIT that I am planning to take a test in December?

Will it help my chances at all if I tell MIT that I’m planning to take a Physics Subject test on December? I’ve applied EA because I need the results in December and everything about my application is perfect, except my Physics score (500 :/). How much will this score hinder my chances at getting accepted? Has anyone ever been admitted with a low subject score like this? The MIT admission statistics don’t really show this information. All my other scores are perfect except for this one.

I’ve finished my application and I want to email them about retaking the test in December. Will this help my chances at all?

-Also, how can I tell MIT that my school doesn’t really have any AP classes?

-Also, what is the range (out of 4.0) of GPA that has been accepted at MIT?

EDIT: I’m from a very poor war struck third world country, if that information helps at all.

EDIT 2: I heard that MIT will compare you to people from your own area rather than all other applicants. Is this true at all?

EA decisions will already be made by December.

MIT will receive your high school’s profile that will let them know whether or not AP courses are offered.

A 500 SAT II in physics will be a major negative on your application.

May applicants with perfect stats are rejected each year.

@TomSrOfBoston Unfortunately my school doesn’t have a high school profile. I know 500 is a really bad score. But I have perfect scores on everything else. Do you think no one can get accepted with such a score?

-Also do you know if MIT will compare you to people from your own area rather than all other applicants for international students?
