Hello, I'm just new here but I decided to try to post my doubts right now.
I want to get into B.C or Tufts really bad, but I'm not sure if I could make it in. I'm just a junior right now (I'm not sure if there is a code here if a high school students could post. If there are I'm very sorry then) , but I think it's time to start getting ready for my next big year.
So far in my Freshman year I took all honors class and got a GPA of 4.0
on my Sophomore year I also took all honors, but I landed with a C+ for a final grade in one of my class. The rest were fine.
Right now in my junior year I'm taking A.P classes and all the rest honors. So far I haven't dipped below a B.

For my extra activities: Key Club, National Honor Society, N.H.A, Humans rights Club, Drama Club, Environmental Club, Model U.N, and Student Council, and an active member in my class , Special Olympic Committee

I got some leadership roles too: Treasurer for my class during the year of 07-08, student council member, student cabinet, V.P of Key Club, President of Key Club, President of Humans Right Club, and Committee Head, Special Olympic Committee Chairperson and my random leadership role in Karate.

I got 200+ volunteer hours, I lost track after 150.

My Only sports is Karate, but I had done that for five years now.

I got some awards all throughout my high school year. Mostly winning all the social sciences awards, and a blue ribbon during the history fair.

Also, I'm the first of my generation to make it to college. I came from a third world country, my parents only got as far as high school. They also don't speak good English. The rest of my family are tenant farmers, and I arrived in America in 2001 without knowing how to speak any English at all. I also happen to fall in the lower income family since both of my parents are factory workers. I also work as a cashier after school.
So, can anyone help me? It would mean a lot to me. Thanks!
