Would including that push me over the five word limit for the Stanford application? I’m just trying to be completely honest, but would this be a bad response for a school like Stanford?
That’s definitely two words.
Is that really how you want Stanford to think about you? Do you think they are looking to admit messy eaters? It would make me think “yuck” if I was the reader.

Hmm… synonyms… slob, dribbler, sloppy, napkin-consumer, stained… none are a great match. But I have to agree, I think you want to be a tad less honest. I’m sure you can come up with something else that won’t make admissions recoil from your app.
Not sure if this is a serious question, but assuming it is…
- “Messy eater” is two words for sure.
- I would really suggest not including that, even if you’re trying to be edgy - comes across to someone that doesn’t know you in the same way as “rarely bathes” or “body odor”.
