I asked the international office at my college today, and the assistant officer lady said she didn't think so. I caught her at a bad time though-- she was swamped with work and rushing to leave. She didn't seem very sure either.

So... any one here has 2 majors listed on the I-20 form? Or just your primary major is listed?

Additionally, is there is difference between "double major" and "double degree" with regards to whether they are printed on the I-20?

Your second major can (and should) be reported in the remarks section of your SEVIS record. That might be important for OPT eligibility later, since OPT is restricted to jobs related to your major(s).

For purposes of your visa interview,it doesn’t really matter. But as barlum pointed out,it may matter when you graduate and want to use your OPT,but it’s really not a big deal and you can always get the international student officer to issue you an updated I-20 when you declare your major(s).

Thanks very much you both! Most helpful comments! macmill, I’m gonna be a sophomore this semester already, so no worries about visa interview :)

I’m about to declare this second major, so once it’s on my academic record, I would go tell international office to include it on my I-20. You both are right that it’ll have the biggest impact on OPT. I’m leaning more towards the field of my second major, so it’s likely that I’ll look for OPT experience in that field instead of my first major.
