So I got accepted to UC Davis. I am an international student.

I just recently received my I-20 form from UCD (was so excited to finally receive it)

'till I found out they listed my major incorrectly. Instead of Biochemical engineering, they put down CHEMICAL ENGINEERING.

OMG. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY MADE A SILLY MISTAKE.

1) Does this mean I have to fill up another I-20 request form and pay for the delivery?

2) Will this take SISS another 2 weeks to create my I-20 form? Can it be any any shorter?

3) Do I still have time to apply for visa...

Sincerely,
Sad person :'(

You need to ask this in the International Student Forum. Here is the link: [International Students - College Confidential](<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/international-students/]International ”>International Students - College Confidential Forums )

However, since students change their majors all of the time, I don’t think this will be an issue.

No, that most likely means they had a number of options to choose from and that was the one that came closest to your actual major.

I didn’t declare a major on my application, which is why my I-20 says I’m majoring in “Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies.” Protip: My school doesn’t offer such a major.

It’s not actually that big of a deal. You can explain the situation to your interviewer if you wish, but I doubt he/she would care.

ETA: I was right. Behold:

The major listed on the I-20/DS-2019 is based on a selection of programs available on the SEVIS system. The major listed on the admission letter is the actual program you will be enrolled in, and the closest option available on SEVIS, will be listed as your major on the I-20/DS-2019.
