Alright guys, time for the mother of all polar opposites when it comes to the gpa vs sat scores.

I've got a 2.525 gpa... and a 2000 sat(700 cr, 650 m, 650 w)

Can I get in? I still have time to raise my gpa to about a 2.7 - 2.9.

All advice welcomed greatly, just don't tell me this is the death of hope.

Oh and I do many extracurricular activities and am Hispanic.

Are you from the San Diego area?

on the other side of the coast, so no…=[

Your SAT would get you in but SDSU is the 2nd most difficult CSU to get into for in-state
and your gpa is pretty low. SDSU take students from inside the San Diego first then go outside. Out of state is difficult any circumstances. There is a gpa calculator that you plug in you stats and see if your within qualifying range on the admissions web site. If you have extra $$ , you could apply and see what happens. With the CA economy in the state that it is in, maybe SDSU will want to admit more out of state kids.
