Can Regents Choose A Different College Upon Enrollment?

I read something about that on the website that describes the scholarship. “UCSD Regents Scholars are also eligible for certain privileges such as: Preferred class enrollment, extended housing benefits for four years (provided housing deadlines are met), UCSD college of choice at time of admission, extended library privileges, and honors program”, but it seems to good to be true, because 1) i really don’t want to be stuck in sixth 2)the FAQ said that transferring between the colleges is impossible.

can anyone confirm this? have any regents out there ever done that?

So yes. I believe so.

Maybe you should contact them to make sure.........

It does look that way but unless you find a current Regent on here who did it I would call the school

college of choice at time of admission... i'm pretty sure that means that regents are still admitted to just one college and the rules for switching apply as written in the faq

yeah I think that means that you get the first choice you put down on the application

i.e. you can't switch now unless you put up with a ton of bureaucracy
