Can someone chance me for the UC Schools?

I am a senior in high school, and I am planning to apply to UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, and UCD. My plan is to go undeclared for the college of arts and sciences for all the schools because I have no idea what I want to major in yet, but the gameplan is to go to medical school afterwards. Below are my stats:

Grades/Test Scores: (took 7 AP’s/Honors in both years combined)
Sophomore UC GPA: 4.08
Junior UC GPA: 4.40 GPA
UC GPA: 4.24
ACT: 29

EC’s:
Swim (2 years)
Band (4 years)
Varsity Basketball (4 years)
Korean Club President (4 years)
Choir (3 years)
Hospital Volunteer (4 years; over 1000 hours)
Tutor at my former grade school

Some background notes:

  • I am a resident of CA
  • I attend a private school
  • I am Korean-American (fluent in Korean)

I appreciate any feedback in helping me understand my chances in this dreadful yet thrilling college process!

You have a competitive UC GPA, solid EC’s, but your ACT score will hurt your chances at the top UC’s.

25th - 75th percentiles for ACT:
UCB: 30-34
UCLA: 30-34
UCSD: 29-34
UCSB: 28-33
UCD: 26-32
UCI: 26-32
UCSC: 26-31
UCR: 23-30
UCM: 20-27

I think UCLA/UCB will be tough unless your get your ACT into the 32+ range. UCSD is probably a Low Reach depending upon major.

UCR/UCSC/UCM: Low Match- Safeties
UCI/UCD/UCSB: Match- High Match

Best of luck.

you are a strong candidate for all of them - but, i net 3 UCs will reject you anyhow - the challenge is knowing which 3.
Apply broadly! Another couple of ACT points would help with the top schools.
good luck.
