Can someone explain act super scoring

My first act test I got a 29 over all with a 29 in English, 27 in math, 35 in reading and a 25 in science. My second time I got a 30 over all with a 33 in english, 24 in math, 33 in reading and a 31 in science. If I apply to a school how does super scoring work?

Superscore= add best four subsections and divide by 4. Certain schools will superscore the act, but the majority “won’t”. The truth is, all schools will look at your best subsections…even ivy’s. The common app also superscores your act, so the schools have an easy way to just look at your best subscores.
