Can someone help me calculate this weighted average grade?

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20141108072833AA6em3J

Ok so I have a 64 in my PE class.. and I need atleast a 70 before the semester ends.. We have infinite campus and they calculate grades using weighted averages.

http://s1050.photobucket.com/user/jack_be1/media/IMG_0010_zpsa7be6387.png.html

Now The assesments have a weight of 60% and the other two have a weight of 20% but they barely move the grade even with all the 90s and 100s

Obviously the assessments are the ones that brought my grades down, We have two more assessments coming up, If i make 100s on both of them will it bring my overall average up past a 70? I did the math and I think i did it wrong but I calculated with two 100s I will be like at 76?

I just need a second opinion, this is my lowest grade and I need this class to graduate. I messed up thinking that this wouldnt affect me and here I am freaking out, If someone can accurately calculate this and help me out I would very much appreciate it.

Why would you post this twice? Why can’t you calculate the number yourself?

It’s not hard to compute. If you get two 100’s in the assessments section, then assuming equal weight, your assessment average goes up to 73.5%, and your grade will be:

grade = 0.2 x 92.22 + 0.6 x 73.5 + 0.2 x 90 = 80.5%

So keep at it and you’ll be fine.
