Can someone please give me my transfer chances?

Hi, I am currently a freshman at Oakland University and would be looking to transfer to MSU for my sophomore year, my stats are as follows:

HS GPA: 2.9, with steady improvement from 1.3 freshman year to 3.75 junior and senior years
ACT: 25
Lots of EC's

At my current school, Oakland university:
1st semester GPA: 3.6
2nd semester GPA: will be at least a 3.6 (much easier)
I won the school's writing excellence award

By the end of the year I will have taken all of the required courses and 33 credits

Thanks.

p.s. If any more info is necessary I can provide it.

yes you can, you dont need your ACT high school stuff, you can get it for sure (: how is oakland? kind of considering to apply.

Oakland is alright. I guess it’s kind of obvious I could like it more, being that Im looking to transfer. But this is only because I commute, I don’t really get the whole college experince, it just feels like a big High School. Deffinitly apply if you are looking to dorm, but I would pass if you were thinking of commuting.

ehh commute! but yeah i think you could get into state !

btw here is what they look for! but looks like they take your ACT for better chances…
3.6 and a 25 will get u in!

I think you will get in (not 100% sure, but highly likely). Good luck!

thanks everyone

I got in as a sophomore transfer last year

My high school gpa was 2.9
ACT- 20

First semester at CC- 3.7 (16 credits)
Second semester- 3.4 (14 credits)

They waited till i had my second semester grades to accept me because i was taking math that semester and finishing up the english requirement.
