My chances at Michigan State?

Hi, I was wondering what my chances of transfer acceptence to MSU would be, I plan on applying for the 2011 fall semester. I am currently a freshman at Oakland University (Never Planned on staying). I live in state, and my stats are as follows:

High School:
Frosh GPA: 1.7
Soph GPA: 2.8
Junior GPA: 3.6
Senior GPA: 3.8
ACT score of 25
Lots of ECs
Attended one of the top schools in the state

College:
Taking all challenging academic classes, and know I will be able to maintain at least a 3.2

Would this be enough to warrent acceptence after one year of college?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Just because you’re taking challenging academic classes does not mean that MSU will accept you.
MSU has a really nice transfer guide on its website.

[Requirements here.](<a href=“http://admissions.msu.edu/admission/transfer_criteria.asp"]Requirements”>http://admissions.msu.edu/admission/transfer_criteria.asp)

If you apply to MSU this year with fewer than 28 credits (for the entire year), then they’ll ask you to send in your high school ACT/SAT scores and transcripts.

If you keep your college GPA high, complete the required courses, participate in clubs/activities, and write a good essay, then you’ll probably get in.

Tip: If you’re applying to MSU as a transfer, do it early! I believe MSU took 3 months to make my decision, but by the time I got it, I already paid my enrollment deposit for Michigan.
