I love to kill a mockingbird, the outsiders and the great gatsby! What are your favorites?

Crime and Punishment, Lord of the Flies, and Catcher in the Rye.

Anything by Jane Austen, Tale of Two Cities, Scarlet Letter, and I enjoyed Anne Rice’s novels too.

Hemingway’s Fiesta: the sun also rises

Brave New World, The Fall, Brideshead Revisited.

American Psycho. Seriously the most complex book you will ever read, if you can look past the violence.

Grapes of Wrath. Heart of Darkness (depressing). A Separate Peace.

Catcher in the Rye, The Bell Jar, Fahrenheit 451

V.

The Great Gatsby. Short, quick read.

John Steinbeck, East of Eden, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, 100 Years of Solitude.

Of Mouse and Men, The Chosen, Macbeth, Wuthering Heights.

My favorites? Wuthering Heights and The Chosen.

Franny and Zooey. On the Road. I Capture the Castle (sort of a classic, lol). Cry, the Beloved Country. Flappers and Philosophers (collection of short stories that, in my opinion, knocks the socks off of Fitzgerald’s full-length novels.) A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. A Wrinkle in Time. Fahrenheit 451. The Bell Jar.

Plus all the ones already suggested.

Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier

1984, Animal Farm
