Can Someone suggest a few good American Colleges that provide good financial aid/scholarships/grants to international students? Undergraduate. Any help will be appreciated

Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.

That’s a “few good American Colleges that provide good financial aid/scholarships/grants to international students”.

OP, if it were that easy, this entire website wouldn’t exist! What do you consider a “good” college? (There are over 3,000 colleges and universities in the U.S.) And how much financial aid do you need? There are many good schools that will offer some FA; to get full financial aid is very, very difficult and very, very competitive. The poster above listed 3 of them.

There are many schools that are need blind to international students BUT don’t have obligation to give full aid. Cornell is an example, though I heard it does give full need sometimes…

Only Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Amherst College, Dartmouh college, and MIT are need blind AND meets full need for int kids.

Unless you want to go to top schools only-which I highly recommend against-you can also look up the schools that give generous merit scholarship that are solely based on ACT/SAT and GPA.

For example. U of Alabama gives full tuition for 8 semesters if you got GPA 3.5 and SAT 1400(M+CR)/ACT 32 +

Okay this is a two parter:
- If I am not going to get much aid does it make more sense to un-check the box on the common app that says “Do you require aid?”
- What if I don’t look at aid and just look at scholarships instead? Are there colleges that offer good scholarships.
And btw Thank You International95, Paul and Katllamom

Why would you un-check when you need aid?
Merit scholarships are either separately applied, nominated by high school, or automatically considered for all applicants.
