Can someone tell me about Wagner College?

I just figured I'll be living there next semester, so if anyone who lived there can tell me anything about it that would be great. I want to know a little about wagner before I move in. Thanks in advance.

You have nothing to look forward to.

[Campus Residences - Roosevelt Quad](<a href=“Campus Residences | Stony Brook University”>Campus Residences | Stony Brook University)

According to the website, Wagner is a 24-hour quiet residence facility.

Not the best looking residence building in the quad. The outside looks ugly but the inside is good.

Wagner isn’t going to be 24-hour quiet next year because they’re moving in to Stimson.

The largest complaint about Wagner is the bathrooms, they’re pretty disgusting. The stairwells are constantly filled with people smoking weed. Very little money is invested into the upkeep of the building, but I believe there are going to be “renovations” over the summer. So, they will replace the carpets and mattresses. The rooms are also smaller than any other corridor doubles, compared to H/G. If you’re being tripled, those few sq. ft. make a huge difference. On the plus side, they have a nice lounge with an active social atmosphere. There are also a few singles there.

The entire Roosevelt Quad used to have many issues because of the construction of Nobel Halls which helped give it its bad name. There were times where the entire quad would lose power and hot water for a week, and none of the residents would get compensation. They also had to deal with the noise of the construction and all that, but they were finished last semester.

If only I could get a chance to live in Nobel or Lauterbur Halls… They look great. Your best bet is to live in Wagner for freshmen year and then transfer to Nobel or Lauterbur which are the newest residence halls in campus.
