<p>Thanks for posting. I've been mentioning the ACT alternative for years to folks in SAT country. So many thought that my daughter was doing something "risky" by not taking the SAT. You still see so many "selective schools on the coasts want the SAT" posts on CC ... (For the record, she is at Brown now.)</p>
