Guys, be frank if you think I don’t have a chance. I really appreciate your feedback.

Given Stanford only probably admits around 2-3 applicants from India in a specific year, I would say chances are very low for any applicant. If I have to guess, I would say those few slots go to national/international level award winners, whether academically or athletically. Here is an example: http://www.deccanchronicle.com/nation/current-affairs/301017/stanford-harvard-universities-vie-for-hyderabad-student-amita-gondi.html

While ACT score is great, your grades are a little on the low side for the top schools like Stanford and Ivies.

Here is another exemplary example of someone who went to Stanford (from India):

Thanks for your feedback fivesages! If not Stanford or the Ivies, what colleges do you think I should realistically aim for for a CS/Engineering program?

@Runictable3626 I am assuming you’re not looking for financial aid. BTW, your overall profile is strong. You should definitely apply to a few ivies…Brown, Columbia and UPenn have strong CS/Engg programs. Here are some others to consider…
Publics: UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Michigan, UIUC
Privates: Harvey Mudd College, Carnegie Mellon, Rice University, Stevens Institute of Technology

@fivesages About the stanford students you mentioned, one is an american passport holder and an athletic recruit while the other one suffers from visual impairment. I think these are hooks that are simply not replicable in most Indian students in stanford. However, it would really help me if you could provide me with other examples
