<p>To become a finalist, you have to have good grades (2.5 GPA may not cut it) and you need to be recommended by your school. If you have disciplinary problems or get arrested you will no make it. There was posting on CC that student wrote a very sarcastic essay and did not make it. </p>

<p>There is a little bit more than just PSAT and SAT scores.</p>
