I'm sort of a graphics artist... you could call it a hobby.

But I'm not much of a designer as much as a model maker. Here are few of my creations in Photoshop:

I'm also creating my website (will take weeks), which I think will be rather aesthetic once completed.

So, my question is, can I put this down in my application? If so, under what category? Hobbies, skills, work experience? Or in the Visual Arts supplement?

Thanks for your time.

Bumpity bump bump.

I would say hobby, so put it on applications under such a section. If there is a skills section and you want to go into something like this as a career, Photoshop is a skill.

But not under the Visual Arts supplement?

Personally, I would put it under visual arts supplement IF you want to major in a visual arts field. That's the impression I get. But hey, what do I know? I'm definitely not an adcom.

I wouldn't say you have to plan to major in a visual arts field in order to submit a visual arts supplement; submitting the supplement allows the adcoms to see a side of you that can't be showcased in an essay or in your transcript.

Personally I sent in a DVD of me dancing (I've been involved in dance for 8 years, so it's very important to me) and I plan on majoring in behavioral sciences. A friend of mine sent in a slideshow of his artwork (sketches and paintings) and he wanted to major in business.
