Can transcripts be sent in AFTER the deadline for application?

I've been searching all over for this answer the last few days. I've tried to call the offices but have had no luck. My high schools can't give me a definite answer. And worst of all, I'm out of the country!

I'm applying for USC and University of Michigan as a transfer applicant and I know that they both ask for official transcripts from high school and colleges. 2/3 high schools I attended were able to get the transcripts to U of Mich already but none to USC and I haven't even asked my community colleges to send out transcripts.

I want to be sure its OK to send the transcripts in after the deadline so that I would not be wasting $130 in applications if I won't even get considered. Hopefully someone sees this in time :(

yes

If you’re unsure, why dont you call USC?

You should still try to send the transcripts in. Contact the admissions office and let them know that your application is complete except for your transcripts, and that the transcripts are already in the mail.

Don’t give up!

Oh man I probably sound so irresponsible, but I just decided to apply to USC a couple of days ago. I’m out of the country and currently staying with my grandma in this little village where internet is so scarce. The first couple of times I couldn’t even open the USC webpage so I decided not to apply and that its probably too expensive (all that negative stuff) and then a couple of days ago I found another place downtown that had good internet. There’s also a huge time difference (and then there was the weekend) so I was having trouble reaching USC. I know I shouldn’t have a fat excuse for all of this.

Thanks for you replies, I feel a lot better submitting and now I don’t totally hate this unplanned vacation. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
