Can we keep the off-topic discussions in the acceptance/denial threads out of them?

@repo11 My god man! Get it together! “Relic of a more civilized time”. You are just harassing this years transfer students who are overly anxious. You aren’t trying to save the fing world! This isn’t the fing apocalypse. This isn’t a f***ing riot. This is a damn forum with transfer students waiting for decisions. You are acting like you were sent here with some higher purpose to enlighten the savages of some distant world. Seriously. You my friend, are delusional.

@repo11 To answer your question, this is a transfer forum. There are no rules. We aren’t some type of saint to provide and help future students. If you want your own organized list of acceptances you can gladly copy and paste every single acceptance and enrich the future transfers!

Come on guys, you really can’t tell that I was joking with the whole “uncivilized” comment? I am serious about you being inconsiderate, though. If you really think my argument about using the transfer threads for conversations was weak, than there’s nothing more I can say to get through to you. You guys are set in your ways and nothing’s going to change.

Here’s the simplest way. There should be two threads: regular and 2014 UCSD Housing Trick.

@Zalrons‌ I’ve never seen that movie, is it good?

@Cayton‌ lol I was quoting you but ok sorry I’m exaggerating good job arguing semantics with me. A+. I retract my other statement and admit that its an inconvenience and not harmful. Clearly the difference is distinct and important.

lol you really are a philosophy major.

@socaltransfer14‌

As a philosophy major who cares a lot about ethics and what constitutes inflicting “harm,” I have to make those kinds of distinctions. :P

@flowerchild, yeah, it’s awesome. It’s on Netflix if you have that! :smiley:

@Zalrons‌

I just looked it up on Netflix myself. I may just watch it today.

@Cayton @Zalrons‌ we can all watch it at the same time ahahaha
Speaking of Netflix though, have you seen the Thomas Crown Affair?

@flowerchild747‌

No. Do you recommend it?

Lol! Nice, hopefully you guys like it if you check it out!

And I haven’t seen the Thomas crown affair! I’ll check it out though :D

@Zalrons‌ @Cayton‌ Yes, I highly recommend it. There are two versions, but the one on Netflix is the one I mean.

@flowerchild747‌

I’ll probably see it this weekend on Netflix then. Thanks for the recommendation!

I had to delete a lot of posts in this thread. I am closing it.

NOTE: I noticed some complaints about moderating on the website. Two points:
