Can we take a AP exam any other period other than MAY?

Can't we take it earlier? Do we have to take a AP course in order to be eligible to take the exam?</p>

<p>I don’t think you can take it earlier, but you can apply for late testing which is after the normal ap test dates (although i think it’s still in May). </p>

<p>You do not have to take an AP course to be eligible to take the exam. AP exams are offered ONLY in May, with regular and late testing dates.</p>

<p>You cannnot take an AP course any time other than the designated time slot in May or the makeup exam period. You can take any AP exam as long as you pay the $86.</p>

<p>Sometimes, if there was a disturbance or something and your whole testing room’s scores were invalidated, they let you make it up later in the year in June I think, although these are rare circumstances.</p>
