I want to be an airline pilot in the future but didn’t get into an aviation school after highschool im starting school now im city tech and wondering if i major in CE and go for the first year can I transfer to a more aviation related school with the credits. Help needed.
You should look up admissions for transfer students at your target aviation schools, and see what the requirements are. That said, there are other paths to becoming an airline pilot. You can major in whatever you like, and on the side go to a local airport flight school that offers flying lessons to just about any paying person, and then get lots of experience flying. Many pilots also got their start in the military as pilots there, because they were able to log lots of hours flying in the military while being paid to do it, rather than paying the thousands of dollars that flight training programs can cost. As backup, a computer engineering degree is an excellent choice, in the event that you change your mind about being a pilot, or it takes awhile to reach that goal.
