Can you cancel an AP score AFTER you get the results?

For example, if I get a 2 on an AP and I find out, can I still cancel it? Or is it like the SAT where I can't cancel it after a certain point before they release the info.

you can cancel anytime but it will still be sent to schools that you requested (if any) on your test sign up. Future schools will see Canceled by student after you tell AP to cancel.

@nc - Are you SURE schools will see “Canceled by student”??? If you cancel b4 scores come out, will it still show that?

If I am taking it in tenth grade (self study psych) and i Get like a 3 or 4 and I want to cancel after I findout and I dont write any colleges down… Will anyone see it? Also should I write down colleges on it if Im only taking in tenth? Can I still send it to them later?

One thing to keep in mind if you’re canceling a score that I didn’t think of until later…(and we haven’t done it so I can’t comment on how it appears)…you school TRANSCRIPT will probably still say “9th grade A/P World History”.

So…if the admissions reader goes to “match up” the score with the class, and they’re is none…they’ll know you canceled it anyway (unless they think there might have been an error in your A/P report such as having two accounts set up like some people did by failing to include SS number on each test, etc.).

I said I self -studied it… cry Is anyone paying attention to what I wrote?
