Hi, so just making sure but you can add/drop classes from 8-12 pm the day of your third orientation right?

And also, I’m an econ major but I did not get any of the courses needed for my major for my first quarter as a freshman. So far my schedule is:
Geology 1 (4 units)
Astrology 10s (3 units)
History 9A (4 units)
Comparative Lan 1 (4 Units)

The total is 15 units but one of the staff from UCD said that my schedule seems a bit heavy for freshman year and that I should drop history and take a seminar. However, the only seminar available is called “The Rest of the Old Testament?: The Deuterocanonical Books of the Christian Canon” which I have no interest in and it’s also a pass/ no pass class instead of a graded one. It’s 1 unit so I would have 12 units in total after I drop history. Should I still take it anyway and drop history to make my course load easier? Or should I keep it for now as 16 units, wait until my Pass 2 appointment this september and see if there is anything else for me and hopefully get another seminar and THEN drop history?
